Do you want to contribute to encouraging a democratic Central Asia with a strong, active, and inclusive civil society that contributes to human rights being respected and social justice achieved? The election committee is currently working in order to provide a diverse and competent board for the organization during 2024/2025.
We are looking for persons who:
– Can dedicate at least 5 hours a month to meetings, with additional time for operational tasks;
– Have an interest in the affairs of Central Asia;
– Possess experience in any of the following areas: communication and social media, project management and grant applications, fundraising, facilitation, grassroots organizing, civil society work, or
– Are passionate about our core themes, including grassroots activism, human rights, security and resilience, gender and women’s rights, climate change, environmental protection, and democratic youth engagement. Experience in grassroots organizing or direct involvement with our partners is highly advantageous.
English is our primary language of communication, while knowledge of languages spoken in Central Asia is a plus.
What matters most is your alignment with our values and your ability to actively contribute to our board meetings. Meetings are predominantly online, facilitating remote participation, and we provide a thorough introduction for new members. Does this sound like you or someone you know?
