Our partner Little Earth is expanding its work to Our partner Little Earth is expanding its work to the villages of Dehbaland, Qul and Gharmayn in Tajikistan. Women from the three communities are taking part in activities focused on climate change, sustainable energy, natural resource management, gender equality and women’s leadership. Building on several years of cooperation in Yaghnob, the new phase will also include a study tour for active women and clean-energy kits for 30 households. We’re glad to continue supporting locally led work that brings together environmental sustainability, women’s participation and community development. Link in bio.
What does youth civic engagement look like when ci What does youth civic engagement look like when civic space is shrinking? A new study by @noviritm , @femacthub , and Public Foundation Positive Youth explores how young people across Kyrgyzstan continue to engage in their communities. The research shows that participation has not disappeared. Instead, it is becoming more careful, adaptive, and often less visible, taking place through volunteering, mutual aid, education, online engagement, and local initiatives.  Read the blog post and access the full report through the link in our bio.

As part of this project, an art exhibition exploring human-soil relationship was created and displayed in several locations across Kyrgyzstan. The exhibition is now available online in three languages: Kyrgyz, English, and Russian (link in bio). The project is supported by @sianiagri
