Volunteering opportunity at the youth-led feminist organization
Novi Ritm in Kyrgyzstan (fully-covered)

Are you interested in issues related to youth and gender? Are you willing to become a part of the dynamic youth-led, and the only proclaimed feminist organization in Kyrgyzstan? Then read on and apply!

We are looking for candidates, who are:

-between 17-30 years old
-citizens of Sweden and Poland
-enthusiastic about working with issues related to age, gender, and ethnicity
-experienced in engagement in civil society
-independent, responsible and responsive
-fluent in written and spoken English
-positive problem-solvers with good interpersonal and team-working skills.

About the project:

-Duration: 12 months
-Venue: Novi Ritm in Osh, Kyrgyzstan
-Start month: April/May (flexible)
-Costs: all costs related to the project are covered by Erasmus+ (accommodation, pocket money, food, insurance, travel, visa)

The aim of the project

The aim of the project is to work with the elimination of discrimination based on age, gender and ethnicity in Sweden, Poland and Kyrgyzstan by accepting youth in local communities as agents for change, who strive for a more democratic and inclusive society.

Activities of the volunteers may include (based on  preferences and agreement):

-Co-organize study visits for participants from Poland, Sweden, and Kyrgyzstan;
-Co-organize various trainings and workshops for youth and teachers;
-Help with organization of conferences, peace roundtables and information campaigns;
-Provide support in organizing and facilitating ongoing activities within Novi Ritm;
-Assist Novi Ritm’s team in the process of project application writing;
-Implement own projects that are compatible with work of Novi Ritm;
